Thanks for this video. What a collection of on road luxury and eye watering prices. They all look totally amazing, especially the one you can go in water with as well although the last and most expensive one’s cockpit would certainly take me time to get used to. Thing is, in spite of all the luxury, marble, furniture etc it doesn’t feel life a house but more like swanky hotel suite.

Personally, for me, if I was going to live in the road I’d still prefer a self converted extended sprinter, promaster ram or any other van with similar specs. Somehow they always seem much more homey and have much more manoeuvrability. Yep, even if I was a multi millionaire I’d still go the van than the enormous RV bus.

I’ve seen the Palazzo before so when the video started off with the Winnebago at $435k, I think it was, I laughed. I had a feeling that I’d have to wait until #10 before I got to see the Palazzo again. Yup, there she was: the one with the rooftop lounge. I have under $5 in the bank and no savings, but it doesn’t bother me to look at these behemoths. I don’t need to own it, I enjoy the imaginative thrill I get from looking at luxury tastefully done, with clever design ideas like saunas, treadmills, fireplaces, French door fridges, hidden garages, and the like. Every single one had a better kitchen than mine, and I especially noticed how fine the sinks and faucets were, as mine leaks like a sieve and I need to replace it when I can figure out how to pay for it and have it installed. Reality doesn’t impede vicarious pleasure.

I also enjoy seeing the luxury river cruises offered by Tauck — if y’all are reading this, you’d probably get a kick out of their European jaunts down the Seine, e.g.: from Paris to an early morning at Monet’s garden and family home in Giverny to a truffle hunt (I am SO there!) down to Normandy and the WWII cemetery to … And I love looking at all the different tiny homes (undoubtedly tinier than these behemoths on wheels — what a fabulous cockpit the Palazzo boasts!)

The price of the lowest cost one would fund the rest of my retirement very well. The cost of the last two---since I hate traveling, that much money would go for a small house with all new appliances and furniture, on several acres of wooded land, a new Dodge Ram pickup. The rest would be for property taxes, retirement, and something else that is more important to me than anything else in this life.
