I can't dislike Bigbang inspite of their troubles (scandals), they're not perfect, Yes, they have many flaws and whatnot.. I will still support and love them no matter what. I just regret not seeing the 5 of them perform live. As a VIP I am not sure if there would be next time for them to perform as 5 but still I will continue to support them individually/group.

" Bigbang went through a lot of hardships to get where they are now. People cursed them back and forth. Even during hiatus, haters ask them to disband. The media tried. The knetz/antis/haters also tried. But you know what, Bigbang is stronger than you can ever imagine. Every hardships they faced, if you think about it, they always come back stronger for their VIPs who have been patiently waiting and enduring on the "flower road". The Korean stage seemed so small for this comeback after what they all had to endure.They gifted VIPs with a Coachella appearance which was supposedly this April but is now moved in October due to Covid-19 pandemic. They faced so much hate but chose to come back because no matter how many people curse at them, they care about their fans more and wanted to fulfill the promise they left us before enlistment, that they would see us on the flower road.

Most people do not give due credit or just tend to forget how hard and cruel was it for the members of Bigbang when they debuted. They think everything were handed to Bigbang in a silver platter and all they have to do was perform but you know what, that is very far from it. Before debut, they lived in a rat infested dorm (since YG was not established as it is now, so it is not a first that a group coming from a small company can make it, Bigbang did y'all) and they did not have enough money as trainees so they would sometimes starved while practicing since their manager was too busy to take care of them. They even had to melt a chocolate cookie pie in their mouth to make it last longer.Though they were dubbed as "super rookies" a lot of knetz labeled them "too ugly to become idols" and were often told that they would never make it big and that they should just quit early on. Imagine being told these harsh comments when the curtain on the stage was just opened for them. How hard they fought to smile in every stage performance knowing people were bashing them left and right; shattering every confidence they have. Despite the harsh comments, Bigbang rose above expectations when "Lies" came out, which finally made everyone acknowledged and realized their talents. (Moreover it was a song that their determined leader Gdragon wrote which is unusual at that time for boy groups.)

As Bigbang influence started to grow bigger, countless issues were thrown upon them. Both Taeyang and TOP around 2007 were criticized by the media/people for wearing clothing that has been considered inappropriate and insensitive in Korean culture. (Taeyang wearing a Tshirt with f*ck you in the back and TOP donning a jacket with a japanese military flag symbol).

In 2009, as Gdragon debuted with his solo album, he was attacked for plagiarizing Flo Rida which sent him endless hate and discredited all the hardwork he had put in the making of his album (not to mention he wrote and co-produced all of the songs with Teddy). The hate never stopped that they even had to make Gdragon and Flo Rida performed together to end the hate show. In his concert "Shine a Light" he was accused of showing inappropriate images to minor fans and even dry humping a dancer in bed which if he was proven guilty of doing would have Gdragon paying a fine and spending a year in prison. It all got so bad that he had to take a hiatus during the controversies.

Back in 2011, Daesung met an unfortunate car accident that people believed he killed someone, although yes someone died, but through investigation it was revealed that it wasn’t Daesungs fault as the victim was initially involved in another crash and police reports proved it, but people still didn’t believe him and rampantly called him a "murderer", told him to leave BIGBANG and end his career right there and then. (Before the accident, Daesung is one of the most popular idols since aside from Bigbang activities Daesung was in-demand in Korean variety shows). Eventhough the investigation proved his innocence, he apologized to the victim's family, and even paid for the funeral. He left the industry for a year and locked himself up in their dorm because he was so embarassed and at the same time felt guilty about the accident and the shame he brought towards his family and his bandmates. At worst, he even had extreme thoughts during his isolation but thankfully was encouraged by the victim's family and his family members to get back on track.

To make things worst, Gdragon got himself involved in a marijuana scandal, where people called him an addict and that he doesn't deserve to live and should just die. He explained that he did not intentionally smoke the weed and also was very drunk, not knowing the smell of weed, he took the cigarette from a stranger (Yes he did not know who offered him the cigarette but what he knows he was in an important after-party event and surrounded by influential and famous people in the industry so declining a cigarette from that 'stranger' would be deemed rude). He took a puff but realized that it tasted weird so he immediately throw it. Police reports stated that initial urine test came back negative and only minute traces of weed in his hair were found backing up his claim yet people attacked him incessantly.

Countless controversies hounded Bigbang and a lot speculated that they would disband while on hiatus. In addition, around 2012 Seungri faced a scandal with photos of him sleeping with a Japanese woman came out and that he allegedly enjoys "choking" her to bed. Despite the calls of disbanding, they bounced back in 2012 and created a song called "Monster" dedicated to all their fans and haters alike. The MV and the song itself spoke genuinely to people displaying their raw emotions after battling all the scandals thrown at them with specific lyrics saying “I’m not a monster, you know me” “let’s stay together till the end” as most fans/VIPs turned their backs on them and joined the haters wagon. They also released "Fantastic Baby" amassing worldwide attention and bringing Bigbang on top of their game once again. Despite the global recognition and record breaking events, a lot of antis still attacked Bigbang and called for them to disband over and over.

Then 2015 came and MADE album was released breaking all records set in Kpop Industry despite their long hiatus. While under military enlistment in 2017, TOP was investigated for smoking marijuana around 2016 with a fellow trainee so he had to be pulled out from his three months enlistment and be investigated. He was severely criticized that in the midst of the commotion he overdosed on his sedatives and was found unconscious. Media flocked in the hospital and hounded his mother left and right accusing them of faking it and hindering the investigation and just making up some drama to lighten her son's sentence. Imagine the horror that TOP's mom faced at that time, his son who overdosed and is currently unconscious while media and netizens blame and accused them together of creating a media play. (Thus, can't really blame TOP when he went on his IG live recently and said that he does not want to promote in Korea after what he and his mom experienced from their own kind. Remember when he discharged, he fooled the K-media and went straight to a secret VIP gathering instead. :) ) While also serving the military quietly in 2018, people accused GD of getting "special treatment" from his superiors as he was hospitalized because of his ankle injury. Korean Army even had to make a statement that the allegations are untrue since haters came at him and continuously hound the unit Gdragon is serving under. (Let me give you an example how biased knetz are, if one member of a certain boy group during his active military enlistment shows support for his members and visited their concert, people would like it and say how supportive that member is, but if its Bigbang, for example even GD attending his sisters wedding, is a big NO for them and people and would scream at the top of their lungs that its special treatment. Hypocrites.)

In 2019, while promoting his solo and doing concerts back and forth, people accused Seungri of multiple disgusting allegations like rape, drugs and providing escort services that he fervently denied. He was in a business group chat only since he is an investor in the club but he is not included in the group chat where the perpetrators talked about their heinous crimes and know nothing about what his partners are up to. Yet people hounded and convicted him as guilty even before trial. News and media outlets painted him as the mastermind even without concrete evidence and while trial was still ongoing. The nation turned their back on him, tainted his career forever which forced him to make a difficult decision of leaving BIGBANG and retiring from the Kpop Industry since the situation got out of hand. He bravely faced all the allegations and cooperated fully with the investigation and a year later (2020) he’s proven innocent, perpetrators are already behind jail but people and the media won’t even apologized nor report the findings of the trial. The only case he’s facing is a financial case regarding his business and these cases are totally unrelated with women and drugs and mostly result in a fine, no jail time, yet up to this day people continuously hate on him, hate on BIGBANG, claiming it’s their end. The witch hunt for Bigbang while under military enlistment did not end with the so-called Gdragon's special treatment and the Burning Sun Scandal of Seungri. During the investigation of Burning Sun, countless media reporters hunted Bigbang members properties and accused Daesung and Taeyang of having illegal transactions in the buildings they owned and painted worst cases under their names. The audacity and the extremes these haters would do just to ruined Bigbang is unimaginable.
