Until I heard this live stage recording my favourite video for this scene was that of a live studio recording with Olga Borodina. Olga's concentration and focus to achieve perfection was for me a bonus to one of the richest mezzo voices . Olga obtained and deserved my fullest focus with such sensitive interpretation of the lyric.

Hopefully Denyce Graves will accept being compared with Olga? Denyce was able to move me in her acting and singing performance live on stage and with the support of Sergie Larin as Samson was wonderful. Congratulations to all involved including the Conductor Philip Jordan. Outstanding achievement using 2002 technology for stage and sound. Deserves five stars Many thanks
