Jacinda Ardern to step down as New Zealand Prime Minister

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Thursday made a shock announcement and said that she had “no more in the tank” to continue leading the country and would step down no later than early February and not seek re-election.

It's politics that means the best person for the job is the one that can win election for the powers that are running the country.

What an amazing, strong, bright, compassionate, beautiful leader we have had. We have been blessed in NZ.
There are very very many other things Jacinda has fine to help improve yhe health and lives of us Kiwis.
She assisted the many areas that had been badly neglected by the previous government. That includes hospitals buildings, housing, snd mental health. Our 37 year old prime minister went on to have her baby while in office.
She introduced the first indigenous public holiday in the world.

Race relations have largely improved. More respect and autonomy is given to Maori people.
Finally, there is a good chance that the health of our Maori will improve.
Due has done so much more than to inspire millions of women, act for peace and unity, save thousands of lives, increase competition among greedy supermarkets, halve the cost of public transport and reduce the cost of petrol. Billions of dollars has gone to people eho are struggling. The homeless have been given accommodation. Thousand of people now have far better accommodation.
I love Jacinda so, so much. She will go down in history as one of the best leaders.
I am glad she can finally take a break. Our other comparable leader of the '40's died in office. She deserves a long break.
If Chris Luxom becomes prime minister we will be in for a very bumpy ride.
Our infrastructure around water and waste was seriously neglected before and will soon have the issues solved.
