Her lips me his and there was a war on her side as she hungrily fought for a dominance that was never needed as he gave in to her almost immediately. Her Lavender scent mingled with his mint. Her hands clawed at him everywhere as though she was losing it and Luke knew she was or she’d never…

He initially tried to return her passion but her lips felt cold against his even as she pushed him onto the bed, pushing her whole weight against him. Luke stilled as her hands started moving lower and he finally grabbed her hand.
There was no warmth in her eyes even as he spoke –“Are you sure you want this?”
“You love me” was all she said giving him her dead eyes.
-“I do” he echoed: -“I always have and will do so. I’m here for you. But we’ve been going at it for days, you barely eat anything and you…Lydia you’re not here…you do not recognize me” he could hardly recognize his own voice hoarse from holding back his emotions.
He might’ve made a mistake, he realized as she looked scared suddenly and before he could react she had fled the room and he knew she’d be heading out now. He could not let her as he ran after her blocking the main door from her. She thrashed violently at him, she clearly did not recognize him; he hardly recognized the person his bestfriend had become. He stood still and took it all holding back a wince but still did not move aside.
They were dancing again; except they weren’t really. Hands and nails scratched and grabbed at him as he refused to move aside; refused to let her go. He received all her force quietly only grabbing her to not let her pass through the threshold. It had become e regular thing now. That’s what he’d been telling himself since the last couple of months. They’d wrestle and no, he’d never hit her so it’d be one sided. All he’d do was keep her from leaving. She stilled for a moment and he grew wary waiting for what she’d throw his way now.She held fistfuls of his shirt tightly.

“I love you” she breathed out, her fistfuls of his shirt not loosening up.
His breath hitched; words he’d have done anything to hear from her just three months prior and her confession echoed against the bare walls of their shared home. Slowly he shook his head refusing to give in. In response she only tightened her grip on his shirt and slid down forcing him down with her. She heaved her fists at him, her strength barely there as she rocked back and forth like a frustrated child.
His heart broke into a millionth piece; as if there was anything left of it in the first place. His heart had been marred and then clawed out and the very person to blame would be him.
He wanted to help her and truly, he was helping her. She just would not; could not understand.
“You said you loved me, Luke” tears were leaking from his beloved’s eyes.
“Is this how you love someone?” she raised her head and Lord…Luke could only see pain in those eyes he had marveled at for so long from a distance before eventually giving in to them; they were the silkiest shade of emerald green, the color of the ocean at the very depth where marine life was at abundant.
He knew of it from his diving experience; with the very person sitting next to him at the moment clearly not in the state of mind to be able to think back to their little day outs.
..

He was right beside her watching the sight unravel by itself. Her dark waist length hair around them like ink infusing in the water.
She was crouched low settled on the sea bed prodding at a particular rock with a gloved hand when an innocent looking tentacle peeked out from behind a rock and reached for her gloved fingers.
Lydia was in awe as she made to peel off one of her glove and Luke tried to gesture not to; it could be too cold or dangerous as they did not know what to expect. But she gave him one of her calming smiles; as much as her tight goggle and mouth piece would allow, her brows relaxing and a familiar twinkle in her dark green eyes. Luke warmed and decided to stay close by instead. Satisfied by what she saw she now turned her full attention back at the tentacle.
Her eyes widened as the tentacle wrapped itself around her fingers, gently almost like giving her a hug and then that one tentacle turned to two and then three and then finally eight and finally the head immerged from behind its rock and shyly it too caressed her skin carefully as if scared of hurting her. Her head turned, eyes meeting his and she beamed at him and he nodded his head; soft at the sight in front of him. Her sea green eyes almost mingling with the surroundings. She was a sight to behold, behind embraced by nature herself.

Back by the shore as they lay, still next to each other breathing freely at last, he could not help but pretend this was what it wasn’t. That they were lovers spending time together and not ‘just friends’, that his feelings were reciprocated and not one sided and that she wanted him the way he wanted her; the fervor of a sea creature stranded on a dessert.
He was both relentless and a coward. He knew she did not feel the same about him so he stayed quiet. This he knew painfully too well. He would watch her flirt with every good looking person and that would be pretty much it; all he could do was watch. He was also unforgiving of his feelings, never even trying to get over them as they were all that got him out of bed every morning. He might not have her by his side but at least he could have her back, could make sure she never gets hurt. Before Lydia he was a lost vessel at the sea, on and on he swayed with the winds having no direction or destination of his own.

He was brought out of his thoughts by stray fingers massaging his temple gently. Lydia was leaning on her elbows and peering down at his face. The sight made his breath hitched and he struggled to not swallow. He could not let her realize it or she’d distance herself from him worrying about hurting her best friend.

Dark eyes met emerald ones and God she was beautiful…the most beautiful. She looked like she had come out of one of those fairytales he’d read to his niece at bedtime. Her luscious dark hair matted at a side of her face, a frown between her brows as she worked her fingers at his temple trying to erase the frown he knew he had as he had been thinking of the very woman lying next to him. Her peachy lips were parted slightly and Luke could not help but wonder what it would be like to kiss them or even brush his fingertips against them.
Reluctant to give in to his most deeply buried desires, he instead allowed to raise his hand slowly while allowing her to retreat before brushing the hair away and cupping her cheek. She stills and then leans in blinking slowly. The sunlight caressing all the right angles of her face and bringing out her sharp cheekbones and the point of her nose. He could be happy with this; he’d told himself.

Back to present he wrapped his arms around her trembling self even as he knew she would not return his embrace. He missed those days even though he had had to keep his feelings hidden.

When he finally thought he could speak he managed: -“I do harbor feelings for you which are different from what friends feel towards each other and that’s why…Lydia, I cannot let you go.”
He takes a long breath before continuing -“It is all for your own good. Please trust me”
His words have no effect and her sobbing only got louder.
“Do you even know what it feels like?” he stayed quiet
“I can always feel my blood pounding in my veins, my head always feels like it’s about to burst, I can’t fall asleep and I have this constant craving that nothing else can satisfy and I can barely remember my life beyond this” Luke held her tighter, hot tears prickling at his eyes but he struggled to stay strong…Lydia needed him.
She raised her head to meet his gaze and…she truly looked broken with her tear stained face; emerald pupils blown wide, so dark and Luke wished they were dilated under a completely different circumstance, when she’s looking at something she loved and not…due to withdrawal symptoms.
“It hurts Luke…what will I do now?” gasping she let her head fall against his shoulder, completely dejected.
Feeling helpless he silently twirled his fingers between her hair.
He pushed away a fleeting memory while they were still teens, a night they’d both sneaked away after curfew from their respective homes to go on a late night drive, her long hair whipping against the wind through the open window while a smile played at her lips looking ahead into the road. They had nothing to fear having decided they’d be back before dawn. They had stopped at a gas station and enjoyed ice creams whilst sitting on the rooftop of the car. Lydia had just told him about the latest gossips going around and Luke had made a passing comment and she had laughed so hard, he had had to hold onto her arm to balance her. Their eyes had met but they both looked away immediately.
Now thinking back Luke only regretted it, not confessing. It did not matter if she had rejected him. At least she would’ve known she had someone to rely on; someone who would never leave her side. The Lydia of present barely remembered him and his feelings were clearly not conveyed to her.
They’ll get by this, he would make sure of that. He would help Lydia get over her addiction, keep her away from those people and…and if after this she wanted nothing to do with him… he’d leave but only after making sure she’d never give in to her bad habits again.

Whilst I was familiar with all the pieces in this video, it's irritating that you didn't timestamp or even give any indication as to what they were.
People who know less than you or I may be interested in the music but unable to find it.
