Fierce Avatar of Lord Shiva - Veerabhadra

According to Hindu Scriptures, Lord Veerabhadra is an intimidating form of Lord Shiva and a fierce warrior. Along with Nandi, Bhringi, and Chandesvara, Veerabhadra is considered to be one of the Prathamaganas of Lord Shiva.

The name "Veerabhadra" is a combination of two Sanskrit words, "Veera," meaning hero, and "Bhadra," meaning friend. In his tamasic or catastrophic form, Veerabhadra is depicted holding four different types of weapons, including arrows, swords, bows, and shields, all of which he wields with his eight hands. He is often portrayed wearing a garland made of skulls, adding to his terrifying appearance.

This is not the story which i have in my Purana.
I have JL Shastri's Shiva Purana which has 4 books. This book was direct translation of the old Sanskrit Shiva Purana.

Half info. Vishnu chopped sati's body part with his sudarshan chakra and those part are now called shakti peeth. And thus shiva cursed vishnu that he had to part with his wives in his avatars.

Hello I really appreciate the videos you make and try to bring back the culture but here there's a small mistake Veerabadhara destroyed the kingdom of King Daksha but was unable to defeat him and Lord Shiva had to step in. It was Lord Shiva who defeated Daksha and took his head. Thank you for making wonderful videos as I am one of your fans and lover of Indian mythology.
