This is such a wonderfully well researched video. I"m particularly stoked about Mexico and Mexico City, which I fell in love with while I was there. Parts of Mexico City remind me of Europe and is such an ideal spot if you need to be in N. American Time Zones. I'm also stoked b/c a lot of the E. European cities that I have still missed are open. Went to cancun twice this summer they are following all the safety measures public beaches are closed but if your resort has a beach you can enjoy that beach and the beaches next to it 👍 had a great time

Its kind of funny we rate these countries to 3 or 4 out of 4 while we have the highest number cases in the world, and USA would be 5 out of 4 if we put ourselves on the same scale in comparison.

I love to travel, and have been to over 45 nations in my life, but with the pandemic it just doesn’t seem worth the bother to go abroad for a while.
Even if you can get into some nations, many of the sites which you want to see may be closed, or have burdensome restrictions.
In my opinion this is a great time to see and enjoy your home nation. The rest of the world will still be there next year.

Not sure if you’ve mentioned this already but Belarus is open! No quarantine required and no visa needed for Americans. I’ve already been there 3 times this summer. Beautiful country and people! Lots of fun too, everything is open.

One more thing about Cambodia...if anyone on your flight tests positive everyone on that flight will be quarantined. And they will find you.

Excellent work Kristin - well-research and well presented very timely information. I can also vouch for Mexico being relatively safe to travel to - I spent most of July in the Riviera Maya as well (Puerto Morelos specifically), and if anything, they take virus spread prevention far more seriously than the U.S. does. There are enforced temperature checks prior to entry into any indoor grocery or restaurant facility, and hand sanitizer and wiping your feet are also required. I wasn't thrilled about the stifling humidity and mosquitoes this time of year, but still a great experience overall.
