Brad Gillis is forever a rock guitar god for being able to step in on short notice and play like this

Tommy Aldridge drums in the first 30 seconds followed by Brad and Rudy afterward is so powerful, even after 40 years

I was there and Brad just killed it the entire show, I was completely blown away by him, his use of the Sustainiac between songs was epic, probably the best show ever for me...

Imagine if Randy lived to be able to perform for MTV that night. Just imagine.

Well, Brad saved Ozzy's ass. He pinch hit and knocked it outta the park.

I bought my ticket for this show to see Randy. I stood in front of Brad and remember thinking it didn't matter who they got to play, and Brad did just that, but the heart and soul was gone. For me, it was just depressing.

Brad Gillis was who inspired me to play guitar. I just didn't know who he was at the time.

I can't imagine the pressure Brad Gillis was under stepping into Randy Rhoad's spot. He did a great job though. Although he isn't the most famous of all the Ozzy guitarists, he certainly pulled it off brilliantly. As a fellow guitarist I have a shit ton of respect for Brad.

I was 13 this night and left my friends to go home and watch this on MTV. I loved it but was confused who the guitarist was...( I didn't know Randy had died)

Thank you for this awesome upload. Love this era of Ozzy. Rip Randy. Don’t get me wrong Jake E.Lee is a phenomenal guitar player ahead of his time. Randy’s style and technique was the glass slipper that fit perfectly with Ozzy. Zakk is the better fit. I’ve recorded and played with so many guitarist. You have to be the puzzle piece that fits and completes the ensemble. Rip to all the greats.
