heartcatch is so great not because it's "dark" but because it handles mature themes in a sensitive way while being age-appropriate for kids! it maintains its lighthearted nature throughout and the main cast is so well written. tsubomi as a protagonist is so interesting especially since she's considered "weak" but grows to be strong in her own right, not OP but she can fight alongside her friends as an equal. love love love heartcatch precure it's my new comfort show

For me Heartcatch is by far the best precure series. From the fight scenes, story lines, and even character designs they just stand out from the rest of the cures. Heartcatch showed us that though we may not be an outstanding at first we can actually improve ourselves and become a better version of ourselves.

Heartcatch is great because while there's all the glitz and glam for younger audiences to enjoy, there's always an undercurrent of sensitive subjects that are subtly handled to let older folks realize what's really going on. It never insults its audience by simplifying topics too much, and yet it never weighs down the sheer fun synonymous with the series


Heartcatch isn't great because it's dark. It's excellent because it's mature in all the right ways <3

my emotional attachment to this season was just so strong that I couldn't even move on from it. I came here after checking out the new season opening and now I'm so sad

This was my first Precure series that I watched. Honestly, it helped me stay more positive back then in my time of life- and while some seasons I found more boring than others, this was my first step into the franchise and I always look forward to upcoming seasons, even just to look at the designs!

This might have been my favorite season of Precure its a fight between go precure and smile precure, those three I love so much and it feels like it changed precure in general it was that good :D
