Tripura indicates 3 cities or three worlds, while Sundari means, pretty woman. The Goddess is thus ‘the virtue of the three cities or the three worlds’. Also called Maha Tripura Sundari, Lalitha, or Rajarajeswari, she is regarded as the superior and the most important Goddess of the Dus Mahavidyas.

The legend narrates about this Goddess an exciting story. Attacked by the powerful demon Bhandasura, the Devas prayed to the terminal Godhead, who then exhibited as a great Maha Kameshwara and Lalitha Tripura Sundari. Then, they have created all the Gods and Goddesses, while Maa Tripura Sundari Devi took on the demon Bhandasura, destroyed him, and protected the world from his atrocities. The sacred hymn Lalitha Sahasranamam which speaks a thousand names of the Goddess depicts this story and sings her great acclaim.

A young maiden of exceptional beauty, she is described as adorned in red silk and having dark, thick, flower-bedecked and flowing hair, a shining face, fish-shaped eyes, bright cheeks, well laid out rows of teeth, and a generous smile. Such was the great looks that her consort even Lord Shiva himself could not take his eyes away from her. She is also described as seated lavishly on the throne with her left foot on the sacred Sri Chakra, holding in her arms, among other weapons, the sugarcane bow and flower arrow, and with motherly compassion in her eyes.

What is about the rest of the text which u didn't included. After sa ka la hrim would follow "sauh aim klim hrim srim" and the beginning starts with: "aum srim hrim klim aim sauh, aum hrim srim" and after that comes 'ka e i la hrim ... etc.

Doesn't it matter or just these sounds you sung were necessary to achieve the benefits?
