The Power of Jellyseerr: Unlocking Media Requests

Last week, we showed you Jellyfin, the open-source and accessible media server. Well, this week, we offer you Jellyseerr, a loyal companion that allows you and your users to request all kinds of media - movies, TV, music, and books (soon).

Jellyseerr is a free and open-source software application for managing requests for your media library. It is a fork of Overseerr built to support Jellyfin & Emby media servers!

We will also show you some upcoming features that make it shine and might get you on board!

Great coverage of Jellyfin and Jellyseerr over the past 2 videos... A Jellyseerr plugin for Jellyfin that displays a 'potentially available' library or multiple libraries directly in the homescreen would be a game changer

At the end of the video I'm still confused as to what Jellyseerr actually does. I have just set up a Jellyfin server on my NAS, having ripped most of my movies, music CDs and now starting on my shows. So I was fascinated to see your video showing Jellyfin, for which thank you as it gave me a few very useful tips. I followed that one straight away with this one, and got nowhere as I don't know, never heard of, Overseer. Unfortunately at the end of this video I still didn't know why I should install and run Jellyseerr. Sorry!

Jellyseerr seems great, but what I'd really need in it is filtering. I loved that with Couchpotato back when it worked fine. I just put an imdb rating of 7, 3 as a minimum and then it downloaded one movie a week. All good. There's so much trash out there that I have no interest in walking through.

hi is there anyway we can have jellyseerr work inside jellyfin this would be great if a user has access to media only through tv which most end users will so they can easily request for content which they would like to watch

great video as always. Interested to know what you think of jellyseerr compared to ombi? I already have ombi running but I do like the look of jellyseerr. You have single handedly helped me keep on top of my unraid server. Hard links, trash guides, jellyfin, cloudflare, nginx proxy manager (also would like to know if you prefer NPM over SWAG and why?). great work as always and thank you

Great video ! But i have one question, how do you use Plex and Jellyfin both for Jellyseer ? When i'm connect with Jellyfin for the first time i can't see Plex :/
