An official memorial service is being held in Humboldt's hockey rink one year after the fatal Broncos bus crash. Sixteen people died, and 13 others were injured, after a bus taking the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team to a playoff game collided with a transport truck in Saskatchewan on April 6, 2018.
