Rusty chain - clean, repair & adjust #shorts

Too much rain affects the chain. counteract this with a little oil on a regular basis or replace the chain when it is no longer working.

That chain is so rusty that it's more apt as a weapon to inflict tetanus than actually being used as a chain

I’d suggest disassembling, cleaning and lub the whole drivetrain. I mean, BB, and freehub at least. I’d take a look at the headset, too. They can’t be good. Good video, though

In germany, we would use some WD40, a hammer (can be the WD40 Can) and perhaps some oil.

Guys I’m not even kidding diesel diesel diesel, oh my god dude diesel is the best chain cleaner I have ever used, it’s cheaper than degreasers you buy at stores and it works better too. I used a spray bottle and misted diesel all over my bike chain and everything that touch’s the chain because I had a good thick layer of tar built up, the diesel just melted it off like butter and than I scrubbed it with a toothbrush soaked in diesel and rinsed with water hose. My chain is brand new without actually being brand new.
