So pros complained until a Tourney, that allowed new people to get into and experience a truly competitive environment, got canceled. Because they had to play with non-pros. Which was kinda the point of an open and joinable popup solo queue league. Cool i guess.

The main issue is that the difference between a pred ranked grinder and a pro is just as much as a pred player vs a diamond. There should be a pro only queue and an up and coming queue that allows pros to mix with randoms.

The main issue was players skill levels not matching up. Realm was created so that people of high skill level cpuld play with other people of high skill level in a random team format which gave people a chance to prove that they could play at that level. The issue is that the difference between the rabk grinders and pros were alot larger than expected. I remember seeing people playing over 30 games with single digit kills. There should have been a different system in play to make it more conducive.

They should have had a cutoff system. For example they start with a large pool of 500 people and each week the bottom 50-100 gets relegated/kicked out till there are 200 players left. This is to make sure that the skill gap between the players will decrease as the competition continues.

There was also an issue with regards to team stacking as there were people in the top 10 being put in teams. For example bambino and mande was in a team once. They were top 1 and 5 at that time. People should have been allocated into teams with consideration of their elo or points. This is to make a more even playing field.

Now they can go back to 3 stacking and shitting on plats and low diamonds

Why don’t they have two groups, one for pros and one for ranked grinders. Top teams in the ranked grinder group after a season get to join the pros? And maybe the lower ranked pros have to move to the ranked grinders?

They should make a seperate ranked mode with solo queue only I’m tired of getting stomped by three stacks that think they’re good just because it’s a 1 vs 3

They canceled because they can’t afford to pay anyone. I would be surprised if anyone gets a payout from this. This shits not coming back 😂

So let me get this straight, pros like Hal wouldn't stop crying about how realm was set up even though that was how it was intended to be, so now they took it away and y'all have to go back to ranked. You reap what you sow.

its because EA doesnt agree with the payment method, its not because pro complaint lol

just carry over how they work ESEA/FACEIT. dedicate to making a client with a elo system, have monthly prizes still, 150k is overboard, create leagues like MTN Dew league etc, it’s a system that is proven to work and already exists out there, just bring it over to apex.

People finally start to learn that even if you are a really good ranked player, u are still way way off by the skills of the real pro's. The real pro's laugh about ranked grinders, they aint good at all in comparison.
