I love the breakdown of the paddle rotation and the differences between yours and hers. She starts out in front and finishes her rotation high but doesn’t move forward through the stroke!

One of the very best videos ever! Thank you Mari and Ed! I am a backhand dominant player with a table tennis background and I used to do this shot all the time as a beginner PB player. As I progressed in PB, I strayed away from using this shot as I started using my 2-handed backhand more and more. I am excited to rediscover my favorite shot!

Notice how Mari always set up her flick with a slice. She’s always waiting on a flat ball to come back after her slice so that ball will come high and already with top spin and then her flick will look neat as always, go Mari! 🇧🇷
