Vocals are crystal clear on the marshall. I can only hear bass in the klipsch speakers

I have the old one ii going on 3 years now and it is my main desktop speaker played everday. It is clear and awsome

It's not really advertised, but the Klipsch The One 2 phono uses the aptx hd codec. I also have the Klipsch The Three 2 snap on version, and that only uses sbc.

Thanks for the review, it really sealed the deal! It's not necessary to go with the newest and prettiest one if I'm looking for an affordable and good sounding speakers :)

Cheers Danny all three, great speakers. Highlight though, has to be the song, sheer brilliance ❤

Good one, i think the marshal sounded more balanced out of the three while the old klipsch sounded more rich, full overall, the new klipsch sounds more a bit muffled & bass heavy

I think the EQ can do well for all when properly adjusted

My pick is the older Klipsch

Why do these boxes not have handle though for easy move around?

Just wanted to say thank you for doing this comparison! I came across it when researching The One II vs Plus - I'd found a McLaren special edition of The One II at B&H (I'm a total car nut) but needed to make sure I could justify the older model. Sound quality is big for me too and the EQ on the Plus was one of the bigger draws. This video helped me solidify my choice to get the II...just came in yesterday and I'm thrilled with it. The vocals are definitely a little muddled and sound profiles are really different based on music type and of course all of the other variables that would take a year to list...but overall it's brilliant.
Also you're totally adorable 😋

If anyone is interested in this great speaker it is currently only $99 at BJ’s Warehouse Club. That is a steal at that price, I bought 3, one for my bedroom, one for office/study, and one for the living room. Link them together for whole home audio.

I agree. The older one sounds better. Then the Marshall.

Got the One Plus for a steal of a deal, 75 dollars on clearance at Target! ❤❤

The Acton III needs the treble cranked up to max before it sounds decent. It's a bit boomy and plastic sounding but not too bad. I hate how the power on/off switch doesn't actually turn the unit off properly. It consumes about half a watt when off, while plugged in. I bought the Acton III today and discovered this, not impressed! Might return. 🔌 A power button labelled "off" should mean off, otherwise call it "standby" or "sleep".

I bought the Klipsch The One II, and I found the bass to be boomy, indistinct, and overall. Though, the mids were pretty fantastic. I’m guessing that if I didn’t like the previous The One’s sound, this is not gonna change my mind?

Not sure if Danny did this; speakers often need burn-in time especially if they are cone type speakers. Usually have to play speaker 30-40 hours for burn in and the sound range will usually improve overall.

The reason the Marshall has more clarity in the demo is not because of the speaker itself. It's because of the microphone placement.
I own a Marshall Woburn II and do love it, although the bass is very heavy. Klipsch is warm and clear in person.
