Yeah, most of Solana influencers lie to you saying Solana only inflates 5% a year. It's about 25 %.

Not to dismiss the whole point but you can't divide a total of 40 months of inflation by 40 to get the monthly inflation, this is not how it works, you need to take into account the compound effect, you're actually getting a higher number than reality by making this calculation ... From the numbers you showed, actual yearly inflation rate would be around 17%, and monthly rate would be around 1.35%
