Particularly interesting here is the BimBam mechanism, in which the chime consisting of the hammers for both tones is operated by only one hammer lever of the regulator clock movement.

Thank you for mentioning the fascinating bim-bam mechanism in your description.
I recently acquired a similar movement made by the Hamburg-America Company. The chimes became discombobulated in the shipping. The one hammer bim-bam took a lot of fine adjustments (a real Rube Goldberg like affair if ever there was one) to get it to bim-bam again instead of a single thud or clank.

Ich Habe 4 Kaminuhren mit Uhligs Waagependel bei 3 Stück ist die Pendel feder leider Kaputt. Ich möchte mir bald noch eine 5 Anschaffen. Und die 3 Kaputten brauchen nur eine neue pendelfeder dann gehen sie wieder. Aber du hast 2 tolle Uhren mit waagependel.
