That part about where you described the superficial environment on UM was interesting to hear. I feel like that is sort of a big problem for me cause that stuff annoys me so much lol.

Pros:
- Genuinely great programs (Music, Architecture, Marine Bio, Medicine, etc.)
- Beautiful campus and if you want to have fun in college, you will surely have fun here at the U.
- Great facilities but you should expect that from an expensive private school.

Cons:
- EXPENSIVE. I think there's no reason to go here unless you get full financial aid or if this is the best option you could take and you can comfortably afford it.
- The alumni network isn't all that compared to similar ranking schools.
- The housing situation is DIRE.

It's a great university I just think it's overpriced for what you get.

My sister used to work at UM and said the same thing about the administration not knowing what to do....a lot of times. The President and his employees had no idea what to do and the poor communication was apparent.

I am from 1965 -1968 Came from So.America great cultural shock, but at that time lots of issues etc, Vietnam, race issues etc. but your pros and cons, hey nothing has changed from those years. For 30 years now in Northern California, sometime I get nostalgic remembering UM. I loved your video.

I graduated in 1971 and wish your video had more pics of the campus. Looking online I can hardly recognize the campus, and could not find my dormitory which was called Pearson Hall. It was across from the mens dorm, Mahoney Hall.

My 2 years at the University of Miami were the most miserable years of my life. Toxic group of students and the school hasn't been helpful at all in finding work since graduation

Very true review I believe most of pros just not all, but you nailed it with all the cons. I worked so hard to get into UM but after 4 semesters I don't feel that what I've paid equals what I got and for that reason I'm withdrawing and looking for a new place where I can finish.

I got in for ED2 and was happy I got in then saw the financial part and then cried 😭 now I’m hoping they reconsider my financial package and if not then imma just back out, the price isn’t worth it and I 100% can’t afford it especially considering I’m paying by myself . Just don’t want it to negatively affect my acceptances from other colleges .

You must know at public universities your classes are taught by grad students and you never see the professor.

Started following Danny 4 years ago. Not always interested in content but ALWAYS INTERESTED in his presentation and energy. Was a communications major and have taught communications in college and corporate environment. Danny gets A+++ Plus, he is always HYDRATED and friends with THE CAMPUS DUCKS. Bilingual too with such great stuff from Cuba.. What's not to love!
