Starfield Shutter/Stutter/Low FPS? - DO THIS FIX to Boost Performance!

I'm having MASSIVE fps drops when shooting. Does anyone know anything on how to solve it? EDIT: I had to get rid of most of the epic and legendary weapons in my inventory. Weird but there it is.

Not sure if it’s just the quality you recorded at but I can quite literally see the frame drops even after the fix. This game is just really badly optimized.

if youre playing on HDD, you should buy an SSD instead. In the minimum requirement for PC it says 'SSD required'.

Disable full screen optimization is what did it. Thank you. I had stutter every 2 seconds and now it's totally gone.

My FPS keeps dropping to 15 fps after i open menus is there a fix for this please this is the only thing keeping me from playing the game

Just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was having CONSTANT stuttering, almost unplayable. Like, every 5 minutes, and occasional crashes. It really seems to help a lot. I'll keep testing, but it seems to make a WORLD of a difference right now.
