About thirty years ago, I was a volunteer for the city of Woodinville for their 4th of July and Christmas celebrations. At the end of the year, the Parks and Recreation Department held a party for all of the volunteers. The head of the Parks and Recreation Department went to high school with Roger Fisher, the guitarist for Heart, and he invited him to come perform at our party. He showed up and played an acoustic set of Heart songs and old rock and roll. Afterwards, he went around to every table and took the time to talk to us. He seemed genuinely interested in what events we had worked on. A down to earth person.

Only real musicians can deliver like this. People who have practiced by themselves for tens of thousands of hours until their fingers hurt, then rehearsed incessantly while played hundreds of one night shows at crappy smoke filled, beer-stained bars, who have dedicated themselves to being the best they could be. There's no autotune here, no sequenced backup tracks, no click track, no giant video screens, no hidden backup musicians, no lip syncing, no pyrotechnics. This is the real shit, and it is amazing.
