There’s actually another pair of Apple wired earphones: The in ears from around 2010. They shared some characteristics with the earpods such as a plastic case but featured rubber in-ear tips. They’re called Apple ma850 and are quite rare I think.

I still have the old iPhone 4S Headphones Original but it's yellowed but works perfectly fine!

lol, I have a stash of these earbuds. despite they not being exactly hi-fi audiophile, I like them, they are comfy and easy to wear (like a shorts).

Great video as always. Im an Apple collector myself and I have all of them. There was a remote control where you could change volume and rewind/forward buttons.

I’m kinda disappointed that Apple took away the EarPods and charging brick starting with the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro. The last iPhone to have the EarPods and charging brick was the iPhone SE 2020.

I still wish apple could have had the headphone jack still in the iphones because i have a bunch of those types of earbuds and lost my adapter for it so i really have no use for them. Sad to see.

The in ear monitor headphones are super rare (not just the in ear iPod headphones but the one with two drivers in each headphones) they were $79 new and I got a pair they are incredible sounding

I personally hated those earphones because they would hurt after awhile. I think the metal part even rose and I couldn't put them in my ear any more because it would cut me.

Man I remember these from the mid-2000’s with my old iPod nano’s and “classics”. I *DID* *NOT* like these at all in terms of fit and long-term comfort..
Sound was decent, but they’d irritate my ear canals and fall out too easily during winter activities and such.
The redesigned ‘EarPods’ that came with the iPhone 5 back in fall of 2012 however, those were AMAZING!
I loved those so much, when Apple announced the original AirPods years ago during the iPhone 7 keynote, I was one of the few people in my friend group that was very optimistic they’d be great, and I wasn’t disappointed from then to my Pro’s.

The biggest difference between EarPods based Airpods(1, 2, 3) and Pros is the bass delivery. It has been the best bass delivery on an apple earbud yet.

As much as I always hated these, I kinda miss them. My last pair got eaten by the dog around a decade ago. Dog was fine, earbuds weren't.
