Speaking as someone who makes about 30k a year, you’ll actually be filling in most of that “free time” working a hustle so You can actually afford to do the things that you want to do in the free time that you no longer have. Shoot for 60-70k, that seems to be the best of both worlds.

Easier said than done, put in the grind, test your limits then exceed them only to find you gave your best 20yrs for everyone but yourself, then start over and push daily to prove to nobody but yourself you're strong and those you care about need your strength. That's just a minor course of existence, but don't sell BS.

Um I make 30, 000 a year and I have two days just like everyone else. Wed and Thurs every week. My other free time is spent cleaning cooking taking care of my son. What free time do you think us broke people have like what?

I get the sentiment, but 30k compared to 7 figs? I'll take the million dollar salary and shitty work life balance for maybe a couple years to stow up some wealth, then work the worse paying job and enjoy my financial security

Couldn’t agree more. People always push being a lawyer doctor engineer etc. they all work crazy hours. Sure u make good money but u barely have anytime to enjoy anything. What’s the point?
