I agree with Tiffany and Sister Patterson, it's hard enough to open up to a person you don't know when you first meet them, that's why some people only make it through one, single therapy session. Imagine them having to do it in front of many others who they don't know, who might judge them (eventhough they have their own issues). Individual meetings should be done on the first night

Sister Patterson has always been a horrible person. I find her funny to watch because I've never seen someone that crazy before. Poor Tiffany that's were she gets her mean ways from

I don't usually watch these therapy shows, but I thought I'd watch this episode with Tiffany and her mother.
Although her mother is batshit crazy, she has a point. And I was truly surprised at how UNPROFESSIONAL this therapist is. Why would she antagonize the mother over what she wants to be called. She called her by a name she did not want to be called several times, following up with "I'm sorry, I forgot" and then making the SAME "mistake" after she made her client get up.

I get what Michelle .... I mean Sista Patterson meant about having a problem addressing personal things in a group setting the first night. The other Doctor I forgot his name atleast had the celebrities that checked in speak with him first directly about their reasoning for being at Rehab. But Patterson should of addressed that properly instead of talking down on her.

tbh i'd feel the same way that they feel. like everyone acts like it's normal to be put in a group of strangers and talk about their personal problems on the first night they arrive in the house. im sure they knew that they'd have to do some type of group work but not on the first night. i'd feel so uncomfortable and bombarded if someone did that to me and the fact that dr. jenn is pushing them to talk when they don't want to is unprofessional of her. she can't just force someone to talk when they don't want to. so maybe they're poppin off a little further and taking it more personal than everyone else but i mean it's understandable why they're upset.
