Ours is that Messmer is the son of the Gloam-Eyed Queen!
What are your predictions?

It's gonna be revealed that Patches is furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten.

Messmer is godwyns twin. Marika only births twins. And godwyns is missing. And forgotten or banished sons is a fromsoft theme

The guy pulling his bones out in the trailer is marikas father

Messmer is not trapped or banished but is instead protecting or guarding something of great significance.

Miquella desires to obtain whatever Messmer is protecting. This might be related to the corpse shown in the trailer, which could potentially be the source of the Erdtree's power and the reason behind the sprouting of the shadowtree.

The guarded entity or object might hold crucial importance to the balance and state of the world, explaining Miquella's strong interest in acquiring it.

Also Patches is going to be one of the NPC's we follow into the Shadowlands

The Erdtree was birthed by Marika via mass sacrifice of the ancient dynasty population and/or her fellow Numen. Miquella will do the same by trying to sacrifice either his band of loyal followers, or the misbegotten/albinaurics. Creatures born of the crucible or from silver aren’t able to be assimilated into the Erdtree, but Miquella’s Haligtree will be able to accept the sacrifices of any and all creatures in the lands between, hence why he lured the spurned races into his protection - he saw them as an untapped resource to achieve his aims. Hence the cut line from Miquella saying “may all things flourish, whether graceful or malign..”, it doesn’t matter if something is ‘malign’ or not, a sacrifice is still a sacrifice. This ties into Miquella’s association with abundance… meaning that bringing the spurned races into his order would beget an abundance of sacrifices. It seems unlikely that Miquella would have entirely good intentions, what seems most likely is that he may have good intentions but to achieve his order he believes the ends justify the means, it will lead to less suffering in the end. I think Messmer’s Flame was allowed to retain some of the power of the Rune of Death after it was sealed in order to purge those who had aspects of the crucible, so they could make sure the majority of the population was able to be fed to the Erdtree roots. The color of Messmer’s Flame resembles destined death a little too much to be a coincidence. It would make sense if he was the son of Radagon and the GEQ, maybe he was allowed to retain a small part of the GEQ’s power that he inherited. Maybe because the Land of Shadow is physically separate from the Lands Between, the Rune of Death being removed from the Golden Order doesn’t necessarily apply there. I’m also predicting that Miquella, Malenia and Messmer were the first 3 demigods to be born from Marika, before Godwyn.

Here's a crazy idea:

The "Gloam Eyed Queen" is Daedicar.

The final boss is going to be Miquella luring all of Miquella's followers and us into a Berserk-like Eclipse event, where in order to revive Godwyn, he has to sacrifice us. So the mechanic of the fight will be similar to Radahn's fight but there will be waves of enemies and then different phases of Miquella.

My prediction is that when Miquella started making his own Haligtree and started to slumber in his cocoon, that is when he initially became St.Trina and appeared in the dreams of the lands between. Whilst this happened, I believe that he found out the secret of how the Erdtree was really formed by travelling through the tree in some sort of spiritual form; think Griffith with how he can travel "through" the world tree in Berserk, we all know the amount of references Miyazaki uses. Tied to this I feel like it is going to be an inverse of the world tree, separating different planes of existence instead of bringing them together like in Fantasia. The final part is that I think it will be the "no twist" twist with Miquella and they are actually good and it's Marika who is the Griffith-like that everyone is expecting Miquella to be.

Another idea:

The "dynast" or "elden john". The statue guy with the long beard holding the tablets?

Yeah, he's from the shadow lands and prophecized the first burning of the erdtree and enraged Merika so bad, she destroyed all traces of his name or his purpose.

Messmer is already dead, the messmer we will encounter in the game is just Miquella possessing Messmer's body

The tree with sap leaking out is The Crucible of Life.

The Shadow Lands include the Badlands, where the Tarnished were sent to live and die.

The gloam eyed queen is the sister to Marikia and Melina is either the GEQ or the daughter of.

Also, the sap falling down form the shadow erd tree looks like an hour glass. Maybe there is a countdown until something bad happens.

Messmer is adopted son of Marika, she took him somewhere between her sceamimg for obtaining godhood and deafication as a powerfull asset.
After time he lead the puradge of the Crucible civilosation and burned the Old Tree (one we see in trailers).
Marika then time and space worped Lands of Shadow [wich was previously land in a middle of Lands Between that's why Erdtree is next to the cliff] amd made it her super prison for her mistakes and things bad for her image (like remains of civilisation you ordered to exterminate).
After the burning of the Old Tree Marika grew herself Erdtree (it's this cicle that rules the world that for new age to begin the previous devine tree must burn after wich a new grows)
And became the Age of Plenty. But Marika wanted her tree and age to last eternaly for wich she took Rune of Death from Elden Ring as soon as posible so tree couldn't burn.
After age passed and the sap stoped to flow form the Erdtree Messmer (loyal beliver in natural cicle of passing of the ages through burning and regroving the tree) sead that it was time to burn the Erd Tree so new age would start and new life and vigor would sprunge from blessings of new tree. But greedy Marika didn't wanted her godhood to stop so they wared. Messmer managed to burn the Erdtree but it didn't die, this is why there is only physical stump of the tree and the rest is spectral ("the Erdtree became the object of faith").
But Messmer was fought back, banished with his troops to the relm of shadows and this is why the serpent became the simbol of treatury (aka. it had to be an ally in the past)

Messmers origins are the friends we made along the way

My pet theory is that Messmer's an adopted native of the land.

We'll learn that Godwyn lost his legs prior to his death after or during a visit of the Shadow of the Erdtree, which would explain why we don't hear a lot about him besides his death and the war against dragons!

The Carian guy who appeared in the trailer is Rennala's father, and he's waiting in the Land of Shadow for the Lands Between denizens to destroy each other so he can enact the fate writ in the stars (which are still visible in this world).

Melina is Ranni's discarded fate.
