Sorry I haven't gotten a few more videos out, but it's always like that during the holidays. Doll shows start back in September, Hooray, looking forward to seeing what people bring to the shows. This is a video of a Fidgie Friends doll. I thought it was interesting. It is for ages 6 and up. Hope everyone is well.

Oh, she's super cute and I love her hair too! I looked them up and the yellow fairy and the watermelon mermaid are really tempting too. I can't remember the purple mermaid because I'm just so tired of monochromatic pink or purple in anything, even if they're really good shades, they have to really wow me somehow to snag my interest then. I can't recall if it seemed like the mermaids had knee joint sections which I think is at least crucial because I just like the option for my dolls to sit nicely/normally. I'm loving how mermaid dolls are blowing up though, I loved them so much as a kid, and wish more of these varieties had been available back then. Heck, love the articulation craze in general, wish it happened more back then lol since my articulated Mulan ended up being one of my faves for that reason, but I'm glad it's going on now.

It does seem like they're now charging an arm and a leg for it though... of course, I think the issue is they were trying to briefly simplify certain doll lines but there just aren't as many kids out there the past few decades, and a lot of people can't afford them (though realistically just to have kids now with inflation and wages, you have to be reasonably well off) while the adult doll market was also drying up a bit and certain company's disappearing... I think with MGA's explosion in the OMG older dolls among the collectors, the doll company's finally realized what they had, and went back to making more collectible play dolls. Although now there's a glut of those kinds of dolls thanks to MGA, Mattel, and I think Jakks Pacific?? I do still love them and the Fashionista line and just wish I could go back to picking up random articulated play dolls who catch my eye, told myself I'd only buy Made to Move lines, but they've made that a little harder, I still can't find the most popular ones from the first/second Signature Look wave (at a reasonable price, the resellers hit hard on those; not the lovely ones with extra outfits at $100 but the $20 dolls in black, silver, and white.) I'd buy the ones that are in the third wave and much more reasonably priced, however now even $20 bucks for three or four dolls is making me antsy even though that's still a good price for the articulation, the overall uniqueness of their faces and other combinations, and such. My main complaint is I also don't really like the clothes most of the new Signature Look is wearing and I'd buy Fashionistas for their fashions and because they're so lovely, just wish more of them could be articulated too and finding a body for swapping feels kind of exhausting even when it isn't that hard to find a match. It's just more money... At least Barbie is one of the few doll-makers selling doll clothes consistently and they've gotten better quality of late.

Sorry for the ramble. There's so many beautiful dolls out there and I wish I could have more of them. I'm glad this Fidgie line is so reasonably priced. Maybe I can snag at least one before they disappear. I'll just have to wait and see. 😅😊

This is the second kind of fidget doll I've seen. Can't remember if you guys have reviewed the others or not, they're smaller, and they come on rings for hanging on your backpack.
