Epic adventure today people!! Hobbes goes backpacking for the first time! 13 years old and does great! We backpack from Big Fish Lake Trailhead to Big Fish Lake and overnight there and head on back! Spectacular scenery. Pristin wilderness. All the things! This was so overdue for me to get out backpacking.

It's great to have an Inspector Hobbes. I have an Inspector Rubes. They help us see what we might otherwise miss... a different perspective.
And yes, Rubes leaves lots of Peemail, especially in places we haven't been. I imagine he's saying that he's been there, how much fun he's having, and so much more. All his "messages" will be wonderful curiosities for other "Inspectors" traveling the trails.
