if it doesnt want to work you could always just have it in your living room so it can sit there and look pretty

The problem is in the flash. They disable the de-acceleration fuel cut to make on / off throttle transitions smoother. But it makes the quickshifter malfunction. Brent tuning can correct this. And he has a copy of your original bin file.

The bmw dealers should all accept the warranty as long as the tune did not significantly raise the rev limiter

Ngl I’ve been happy with my 300. I’m 19 so it’s a really good cost to fun ratio and keeps me out of trouble

My uncle told me. Let the bike be a slave to you. Not you being a slave to the bike. Motorcycle are symbol of freedom. Spend more time riding it instead of fixing it.

One day I went for a ride to the beach in the middle of a hot summers day and because I was only going 15 minutes to the beach I decided to wear a singlet and shorts on my ride. At this point I had been riding for 5 years and considered myself a very confident rider. This was literally the only time I’d ever ridden without my gear and guess what, a car pulled in front of me and then jammed on their brakes and I hit the car and came off doing 50mph on the highway. Needless to say I was a bloody mess and just because I was experienced that didn’t save my skin. Wear your gloves bro, your hands are always the first thing you put out to stop your fall. Loves the vids, looking forward to hearing the outcome of this quick shifter issue

I’m on my 2nd S1000RR (21 & 24) and no issues with either. I also have a pretty good BMW shop in my town.

BMW is incapable of making a water pump that doesn't randomly fail. Even in their cars lol

Life is short, not worth the problems. Sometimes you gotta cut your losses and move on.
Have family or friend list your bike privately, it's not that big of a deal. Though, really you should leverage your social media and sell it yourself. Put it out there with a firm price, must pick up. It's just part of growing up and being a man.

Was at the Ducati dealer yesterday, sat on a few Panigale's. Such nice bikes, gonna have to pull the trigger. Always loved the Ducati's, though honestly your experience and relationship with your local Ducati dealer kinda helped push me in that direction.

Keep killin' it bro!

I feel for you bro. I just recently bought a 24 S1K M Package, and fortunately i haven’t had any problems, but I am very worried after all these horror stories…

“I’ve been riding for 5 years” is not a good excuse to not use gear. Smh

First off, you do you. If you want to ride without gear, that's your decision. Second, when you get confident, when you think 5 years experience without a wreck means you won't have one, that's when you'll get f'ed up. I really hope you don't, but gear is a small price to pay to be safe and whole.

You don't need to go back to the dealer to reset the service minder. You can do it with a GS-911 or Motoscan. I don't know how good the Motoscan is compared to the GS-911. I have a GS-911 as they were the first scan tool for BMW bikes and have been the gold standard since. I just did an oil change on my 22 K67 and switched off the service minder with my GS-911. Hexcode has also added coding capabilities to the platform in addition to the standard diagnostic features.

12:50 This is an easy fix and common problem with all quick shifter motorcycles; the wind pressure pushes the clutch lever back very slightly, thereby engaging the shift sensor. You can replicate this by very slightly pulling on the shift lever and then trying to shift with open throttle. It's difficult to replicate this on the road because it requires a lot of speed for the wind to push back your lever.

Easy fix: readjust your clutch lever outward so it doesn't trigger the shift sensor.

25k into a motorcycle? Talk about a financial L. That's car money. and you're considering a Ducati now? Stop throwing money into a bonfire trying to be cool and different, just get a Japanese bike and ride.

I understand that, I bought a Porsche 944 this year… the day after I bought it, the flex plate broke and so it went into the shop. I got it 1-2 days shy of a month later FINALLY… and then only 16 days later the counter balance exploded blowing out the top of my engine and now it back in the shop… the engine blew Monday- 3days ago at the time of posting this. I bought the car for 6.5k, I spent 6.1k for the flex plate and other stuff, and now I got to pay 5-6k more for a used engine and for it to be installed
