Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorite movies and holds a close place near my heart. When my oldest brother left for the Navy, he took me to see it in theaters. I had no idea what was going on, just thought he was being nice. You know, a good bro to his baby brother. He told me as we were walking back to his car after the movie. Neither of us, even though I was 9, I understood, where he would be stationed, how long he'd go without communication to any of our family, or if he'd even make it home alive. Luckily, he did. he was stationed in Japan for 6 of his 8 years, which happened to be during the heaviest part of the war. That doesn't make Lilo and Stitch any less of a special, important, or loved movie for me. You just breathed a new life into my favorite song from it! He also loves this cover! Thank you for bringing a dark-but-now-bright memory to my heart and giving me tears of joy as I sang along to it! Keep up the great work, man!
