Geminid Meteor Shower 2020 in Real-Time 4K

The Geminid Meteor Shower is one of the best of the year. This year there could be 150+ per hour. So I went out last night with my low light camera and lenses determined to film the shootings stars in real time. It was a spectacular show! I was filming from a rural field in Devon, UK If anyone in the country has clear skies tonight I suggest you get out and watch for half an hour. You won't be disappointed!

This was all shot with a Sony A7iii with a Sigma 20mm 1.4 lens

I was outside with my brother around 2am in Australia, I could’ve sworn the stars were dancing it was so beautiful

We both looked straight up for a second and the biggest meteor I have ever seen came directly over us. It was so bright and it looked like the sparks were coming off the back from it, it was so close

I spent 4 hours and managed to see around 10 of them. Light pollution kind of ruined it, but it was so worth the time.

I leave early for work every December 14th morning to pull over on a gravel road and watch. I can't help but cry watching them. I'm left speechless and in awe.

i happened couple minutes ago here in Brazil. incredible, there's no other words to describe it. I've seen many meteor showers but this one was special. the amount of meteors and their size, plus the starry night with the milky damn. 🌌☄️😍

This was the first meteor shower I could follow, it was an amazing experience. As a young astronomy enthusiast, I was ecstatic. Many years from now I will still remember how that 🇧🇷❤️☄️

Picking my friend up from airprt and it was so bright. We were not sure what it was. Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The forecast was cloudy/wet for the peak, luckily about 1am the sky cleared, I was using sat24 and knew it was worth waiting up.

On Saturday I saw 12 Geminids, and got 2 on camera, on Sunday I saw 58, and a couple on camera, on Monday I saw 7, luckily captured the best one about 2.30am before clouds came in.
