Great video Mike. I asked Abyss, and supposedly the Diana V2 does have some trickle down tech from the Diana Phi driver. "We updated the driver, it has more resolution. The headband and ear pads are now the same as on Phi."


Looking forward to hearing the V2 Diana at some point. I sold my Diana Phi to upgrade to the TC's!

Mike if you are looking for an endgame iem I recomend the noble Khan. They have a sound signature close to the Abyss AB-1266 phi tc imo. They have incredible resolution and a pretty even frequency response.

For my reference iem I use the JHxAK Layla. It has a very clean and clear sound. Very unforgiving to bad recordings.

Would you say the Diana V2 could be driven adequately by my own Equipment? At the moment I'm using a mobile RHA Dacamp L1, fed via USB Otg from a Pioneer XDP 100R with FLAC files of different quality. Headphones on that combo at the moment are Audio Technica ATH-R70X.

To add to my question, I have zero experience with Planar design headphones.
