This is a quick way to paint a loose flower using inks and gouache paint. Please excuse the lighting in this video. I was literally chasing daylight. Here are the materials I used in this video:

1. Daler and Rowney Pearlescent Ink
2. Liquitex Ink (Magenta)
3. Chinese Brush Goat Hair
4. Arches Watercolor Paper
5. Dr. Ph Martins India Ink

That is such real life that you didn't clean your brushes. Gave me a good smile. I love your work. Thanks for sharing.

How to fix banana brushes or malformed brushes (has to be natural hair! Get a cup of hot hot steamy almost boiling water and dip only the hairs in for a few seconds then run under cold water until the hairs are back to where they should be. Note of caution....do not put the ferrule in the hot water because it could make the glue melt and that's not good. However it's never happened to me. Good luck!!!

Kris, when you are using the inks do you mix the white paint on the pallette with the ink or just dip the tip of your brush in it?
because of the camera angle we can't see when you do that, I'm sure space on your table has alot to do with that as well
