I think the first red one was a bit too short.I can't believe the issue with the material of the next one would provocate a diplomatic issue.The expensive dress is the average price of the expense of other princesses for special occasions.The glove issue

I can at least marginally understand the response to her having worn a pricey suit during a hard economic period. That said, she *is* the wife of the future king and she *does* represent the Commonwealth at all times, so wouldn’t she be equally criticized for casting a poor global light on the UK if she suddenly started “dressing down” in inexpensive, no-name clothing every time the economy spirals downward? That’s a poor time to forget that “perception is reality.” Anyway, the rest of the critiques are absurd. People today need to stop actively drumming up every possible way in which we perceive that others are potentially being offensive toward us, and start focusing on our own attitudes, actions, choices, priorities, etc. toward others that need to be adjusted. Just a thought.
