As a fencing contractor before even considering the fact that entire screen is being held up by glue essentially as the have just fixed to 25mm or inch thick plinth glued to concrete posts. It is never a good thought to assemble a screen on a boundary fence as in the future when the fence needs replacing the entire screen has to be removed. What's build screens on new posts away from the boundary.

Love the horizontal slats. That way it's easier for the water to sit on the side and rot the wood more quickly.

Surely replacing the fence panels would of been cheaper. Sticking stuff over old broken parts is what we in the UK call a bodge job.

In my country, the cost of that cedar would be so high, I could not afford one tenth of that surface area you're working on. It's a pity, because I love the shades and tones of it, it's such a pretty timber.
