So was browsing the ol YouTube looking for possible tools for review and came across the Tight Reach DIY Extension Wrench. Being the inquisitive type I decided why not try this bad dude out. The Video made it look super easy to use and looked like it would actually work, welp you guessed it, old ham hands ended up braking it. There is a link below if you have $25 to blow, but if it were me I would not waste your money as I did.

So paint it gold and make Mr. T. Jealous with your chain.

As the manufacturer I want to thank Jk Canvas for taking the time to review our tool. The 3/8" Tite-Reach Do-it-Yourself(TR38V1-DIY) version shown in the video was used beyond it's limitations (35ft/lbs) and unfortunately failed. We do have a 3/8" drive wrench that is built with a die-cast metal housing and larger chain called the 3/8" Professional Extension Wrench(TR38V1). It's rated for 125ft/lbs of direct pressure and we are confident it would preform well under the same circumstances the 3/8" DIY was tested under. We at Tite-Reach hope your channel has continued success in the future.

Last I checked drive line bolts were a tad higher than 35ftlbs 🤣🤣🤣

You used it incorrectly. Your suppose to wrench it on the opposite side unless you reverse you ratchet.

Incorrect use. They make a 1/2 version that’s good for up to 165 ft lbs

1/4" sockets are not supposed to drive bolts that big.

Firstly it is a bit of a waste of time using the version you are using. That version is just for basic shit or handyman shit around the house. If you are going to use it for any kind of mechanic stuff or more heavier duty situations, then you need the Pro version. I have the Pro set 1/4", 3/8" & 1/2" version, & I haven't had a problem with it yet. I work on heavy hydraulics onboard boats, & it has gotten me out of trouble several times. I wouldn't say it is for constant use, but just use for the situation it was intended for, the occasional tight spot, & the tool will last. But even using it a just couple of times in stressful difficult times, it has paid for itself 100 times over. I like to rate my specialty tools with a swear factor of 1-10, meaning how much does this tool reduce your rate of swearing when you're attacking very difficult jobs under pressure. The Pro version I give a swear factor of 10, meaning it reduces my swearing 10 fold when attacking difficult jobs under pressure. I only use them about 150 times a year at work, which doesn't sound like much use, but it can turn a hour job into a 10 minute job, or 3 hour job into a hour job. Get the Pro version, then come back & do another video, & see what the results are like.

I'm surprised it wasn't a bunch of gears one after another, Can't imagine a chain is cheaper to build.

Spend your $25 and 30 seconds to look at the back of the package 🤦
