This is a great video. It has helped me so much. The second paper being sucked into the Samsung SCX-4100 was driving me crazy. First I changed the paper separator, then I pulled the entire printer apart to change the pickup roller. But these got me nowhere. I was about to throw the printer out of the window when I saw your video. The exact same solenoid on this machine. Located elsewhere but the same issue. I removed the film which had gotten sticky with age and bingo: It started working again. Cannot thank you enough!!! :) :) :)

Thank you man! Everything worked as shown, my printer didnt end up in garbage. 🤘 P.S. Putting that black cogwheel back needs to be doublechecked if it's fitted fully in and in correct direction. I had to redo that.
