R34 GT-R Custom Exhaust & Carbon Fiber Trunk & Wing

In todays episode were building a custom exhaust and installing a bunch of carbon fiber parts for the rear end.

I vote for an OEM R34 GTR wing with the tall carbon fiber mounts, last time you installed a big wing on a GTR didn't go so well! 😅

Wing definitely needs to come back a few inches, looks kinda goofy like that. Rest of the car turned out amazing though

The wing needs to be mounted further back on the trunk lid. Looks silly in the middle and I feel like for aesthetics the back of the wing should be more in line with the bumper. Also the angle of attach looks like it will create lift

as everyone is saying, the wing is like 5" too far forward, and you need to find GTR tail light covers to match the rear fenders

The wing is meh, but it’s mounted too far forward, it needs to be a couple inches further back.

Been really loving this build. Have to say that wing has ruined it tho. Looks a bit weird being mounted in the middle of the boot

12:38 The clear and red lenses are: clear (backup light) red (rear fog light, JDM and Euro). The side the red lens goes on is dictated by the drivers side of the car. In Japan, the driver in on the right so the red lens goes on the right. In Euro land (except UK) the driver is on the left so the red lens goes on the left. In your case, the red lens should be on the left (good luck finding a left side rear fog lens). The car is looking good!

Definitely voting for the oem r34 gtr v-spec wing, I feel like it matches the build style better. This wing is just way too rice, the proportions seem all wrong. Love the entire rest of the build though!

My hat is off to you and the team for this build. As an American living in Germany we are not allowed to do such builds. Although I do have a 34 GTR! I agree the wheels look terrible in my opinion. The wing should have definitely been a 34 GTR wing. Again it’s your build so you do you. Really love the way you made it all work so far. Everything can always be improved. Remember this: You can make some of the people happy some of the time but you can never make all of the people happy all of the time! 😉

Curious? Why did you mount the wing so far forward on the trunk?! Looks very odd.
