Easier to read than a normal watch imo. And definitely a high quality looking piece. It would be nice if the minute hand had a square window so you can see the hour jump more easily.

Overall, something I have my eye on especially at that price point.

Unfortunately I have to disagree buddy. I can no longer recommend Merkur related watches. Too many review pieces sent with badly misaligned hands, the wrong watches altogether, failing movements and zero customer service. As a fellow watch reviewer my advice is stay away.

I will shortly be reviewing one. I would have kept the dial name "Merkur" or even better still put some Chinese script on it. I would also have designed it so the hollowed our circle on the minute hand travels over the hour window. Great video as usual mate

I like the boxed hardlex one much better, it's enhancing the vintage design. But is has the same flaw as this one with the minute hand. 25 years ago Omega had something similar with the model 4853.61.01. And they got it right with the minute-hand ring.

Love the choice Kieran. Wasn’t aware of this colorway! Love colorful unique watches. Plus the details are well thought out. I actually like the double curved bezel and the movement is just fine. I agree with you on the strap with my skinny wrists and would have loved to have seen a color matched jump hour.

I believe the style of the minute hand is known as (or very, very similar to) a Breguet hand. Not too sure about the seconds hand though... I like this little thing 🙂

If this watch said Merkur or had the Chinese characters on the dial, I'd get it. With that branding, no thanks. It looks good though. I previously owned a salmon dial Crossline model from them and it looked good and worked flawlessly.

You should check out the Sugess version of this watch, the minute hand is longer and the 30 minute marker hasn't been chopped off, I'm thinking of ordering one
