This affordable phone offers some strong features for that low asking price (£159 in the UK). You've got an AMOLED screen (although only 60Hz), stereo speaker setup, headphone jack, plus expandable storage via microSD. Performance is good enough for light gaming, with PubG and other online titles. Plus the 5000mAh battery supports 33W charging and can deliver all day play, no worries.

The Redmi Note 10S camera is quite basic, struggling in low light and strong light also. But it's fine for everyday shenanigans and can shoot 4K video. Of course, how you feel about Xiaomi's MiUI 12 launcher will also factor into your impressions on the Note phone.

Love your phone reviews, really useful for us here in the UK. However it was a big plus that you reported on volume levels. Apparently the Xiaomi M11 Lite 5G is sadly lacking in the volume department so if music/gaming/movies/YouTube are your thing then lack of oomph In the headphones will be a real deal breaker
