You could steal kidneys and lungs from prisoners who ain't worth much and let them go afterwards. I don't remember how much the mood penalty is but letting them go provides a nice buff

I've never heard you mention this before, and I feel like it's something you would have for sure pointed out. I recently discovered that damage (scars, missing parts, wounds) to a pawns face gives them a Disfigured tag and a huge social penalty, which can lead to more frequent insults, social fights, and colony unhappiness. Not sure if it stacks though, most stuff does, so probably.

7:23 one tip. Start using melee. Unless the enemy has some strong melee thing, using melee on enemies will make so they won't shoot. Have one your guys melee each mech and have rest shoot and you've minimized the dmg.
