Best Hip-Fire Setups in Modern Warfare II! | (Hipfire Attachment Breakdown)

One element of Modern Warfare II that I haven't covered in great detail yet is Hip-Fire so today I wanted to share how the different characteristics of hipfire work as well as how various attachments affect Hip-Fire and at the end, I share some of my best Hip-Fire builds in the game. Anyone remember the Scorpion EVO with laser sight in bo2? That combo was godly, you could just run around and hipfire with your 1250 rpm SMG in 90% of gunfights. And the gun sounded amazing as well.

Small note, the Crossbow and a few shotguns can be tuned and modded with so much hip recoil control that the cone of fire gets tighter when moving and firing.

Something underrated about hipfiring is that we often find ourselves in situations where we have to shoot before we’re fully ADS(so basically hipfiring) which often leads us to missing our first bullet(s)

So it’s nice to have a little bit of hip fire capability in ADS builds because it basically indirectly raises our ADS and TTK

I learned this while making a Slug shotgun build where I have only the one shot I have to hit or else I die

Really like kitting the X13 out with impact point barrel, biggest suppressor and max hip fire. Melts up close with decent range

The Vector with the right attachments for hipfiring is so underrated. It can go toe to toe with shotguns

Fun fact, you can get negative hip recoil control. It will tighten your spread when you move

It’s cool you can actually see the laser on the environment in this game. (Most modern game I’ve played was bo3)

the Bas-p has been doing wonders for me with an all hipfire setup. i'm prioritizing sprint to fire time.

I think the “hip fire recoil control” is essentially the same thing as “recoil smoothness”. When moving or tracking targets the recoil seems a lot more controllable, meaning less random pulls away from the direction your moving your sights.
Also, I’m surprised the P90 didn’t do better in the hip fire department. In CoD4 a suppressed P90 was god tier when it came to hip fire. It was the best weapon for rushing in that game and probably one of the best in CoD history. No sprint to fire penalty, you could sprint around corners and hose people down. It was beautiful

If you want the first shot accuracy, hipfire accuracy is better, such as on shotguns and the like, whereas if you want to keep the hipfire cone tight while under sustained fire, you want hipfire recoil control, such as on most automatic weapons.
