Translation revised. No more hanging of any animals!
PETA likes and approves.
In Norse mythology, Hangatýr was one of many names for Odin, translated as the "Hanged God", a reference to his ordeal upon the World Tree, and also translated as the "God of Hanged men".
The Hamingja was a kind of female guardian angel in Norse mythology. It was believed that she accompanied a person and decided their luck and happiness. Consequently, the name was also used to indicate happiness, and that is what it means in modern Icelandic. When a person died, the hamingja passed to a beloved family member and thus accompanied a family for several generations, continuing to influence their fortunes.

Each and every one of us by now can say we come from the succeeding bloodlines. We ourselves are the products of victory after victory, rejoice at the greatness of your ancestors.

At the end of a day working on my new house, I built a bonfire as the sun was setting. I drank and feasted well as I blasted Heilung. Glad my nearest neighbor lives almost a mile away. I don't bother them so they don't bother me.

Thank you for great music and Lyrics, but I wish a different color was chosen for the translations as I cannot read them. But I really appreciate your efforts.

I work at an old folks home. Once a patient unplugged my earbuds and this song was playing... I tried to get to my phone but I stopped because all the "feeders" had their arms up moving with the music. I wish I recorded it out was surreal. Everyone just watched the totally dependent persons wave their arms to music that most in this area call "Devil worshipping." I cried it was so beautiful.. I'd say it was about the 5:00 mark. Some coworkers still talk about it. They still get goosebumps.

Maybe it’s just me, but most of the time I had a _really_ difficult time reading the English translation. The English should’ve been in white and the original language should’ve been the dark color instead.

My mother's side is pure Swedish and my father's side is pure Scottish. Thank the Gods for that!

While I appreciate the translation the formatting is driving me to madness.
