That was the saddest video I've seen in a long time

For those of you complaining why no one helped the baby, this is just part of nature. Their job is to capture moments as they happen, not to interfere. That's wildlife filmmaking 101. Not to mention, there's a good chance it's actually illegal to do so, as well. There may be a few exceptions where people have to interfere, but that's park and wildlife officials' jobs, not the filmmaking crew. This isn't a Disney movie.

Oh my goodness… that makes me so sad but that’s the world. I don’t know how the camera crew held themselves back from helping but I know they can’t intervene no matter how sad. Thank you to all those who work so tirelessly and away from their own families to bring things like this to ours. Truly incredible work and these are things we’d never get a chance to see for ourselves without it. ❤

😢 I have been around animals most of my life and am fully convinced that they do feel emotions. Not just primates either but a lot of animals do.

I wish someone had rescued that baby lemur.

Why do they have to make up scientific words for it ? Animals have feelings, it's that simple. Anyone who's spent time around them knows this.
They're smarter than they've historically been given credit for. ❤

How could anyone question that the mother feels deep anguish?

I’m sure the camera crew took it in to the local vet for rehabilitation

Heartbreaking 😢 even the animal know she’s a mother for her young baby it must be a very difficult decision she’s ever made…

It's a hard decision to make. Imagine what the mom is thinking about when she is back-and-forth, which is just like our human beings.
