1950 Fender Brodcaster played by Scott Sharrard

Scott Sharrard plays a '50 Broadcaster through a '64 Fender Reverb Unit and a '57 Fender Super. While this may not be a clean example of a Broadcaster, it is still a remarkably rare original 1950 Fender Broadcaster! The body has been scarfed giving it the belly cut and arm contour of a strat. The neck, which has a date of 11-50 and is initialed DZ, has been refinished. The original bridge pickup has been rewound and the neck pickup replaced.

Best electric demo by far! Also, I don't even want to know what that axe costs. :)

Interesting body mods. Oughta make an otherwise trophy instrument a real player.

Certainly an interesting piece of history, and some really good playing but the guitar itself doesn't sound all that impressive, the chords sound kind of muddy compared to the Teleasters I've played, almost like the wound strings have been on way too long. It's not something I'd use to record with, but i wouldn't mind owning it.
