Either or I am never leaving the Church. Despite all the chaos or perception of the same - inside, not outside would be the safest place to be regardless of attacks inside or outside the church - The devil comes for this church which speaks volumes to me. God helps us all.

It's also important to know that there is sometimes misinformation about a pope or other leaders. This misinformation is beneficial to those in opposition to the leader who do not care if the information is accurate or not, so long as it makes the leader look bad. Fact checking becomes necessary.

The difference between Pope Francis papacy and any others is no other pope has been scrutinised publicly by all facets of society religious and secular commentators.

Just a reminder that if you blindly follow the dogmas you aren’t doing your due diligence. Read up on why the dogmas are in place, and how the errors that conflict with them are harmful. As for the pope, he’s generally a good advice giver, but if he makes some political statement out of the blue that isn’t Ex Cathedra, you don’t necessarily have to follow it. Follow your catechism, and take your pope’s words from his own mouth and discern from there.

I think people misunderstood what Papal Infallibility is.3.

Papal Infallibility is about the pope having to not make a mistake about the understanding of the doctrine, and the scriptures, to preserve the scriptures from possibility of errors as the Supreme Teacher of the Church.

It's not about "The Pope being Sinless". We never think that they're sinless, that's straight up heresy. Furthermore, if the pope were to become Heretical, he would be sent to his sins just as every pope who did crimes or sin was.

The Pope being the center of unity doesn’t mean he needs to be a unifying personality, you don’t have to feel that he is unifying. It’s not his job to be unifying. The pope being the center of unity means he is the obligatory rallying point for Catholics.

Also, the speaker said he is obligated to raise questions or issues to the pope… not exactly. Only in certain cases, those who possess competence have the right and duty to raise concerns, as the Code of Canon law points out.

"All paths lead to God"... as a Protestant, how do Catholics co-sign such statements? Even children in Sunday school have sharper theology.

Pope Francis makes who uncomfortable? To who is he a disruption?
American Catholics need to get out of their traditionalist bubble. Pope Francis has been a joy and an awakening to many, including my wife. His papacy should also be 'an awakening' to those who wish to make the Catholic Church their own. I'm talking about you traditionalists.
God have mercy on our Holy Father.
He is where he is to disrupt what should be disrupted and call for those who should be called.
From my perspective, this conversation makes it clear to me how important it is for us to be humble, given how limited and individualistic our views can be.

"radtrads" Americans are who most question the pope. I wonder why. He's very loved almost everywhere else.

I have never seen a Pope get so much hate as the current Pope. It's a real shame.

The end of this video sums up the problem here. If the presenter really believes he will face judgement from Jesus for being “rotten to his Vicar” then he has no understanding of The Christ nor His Teachings but is primarily concerned with the virtues of earthly power and kingdoms. It is clearly indicative of our modern world of celebrity and status and only these. Substance and Faith have become marketing ploys. It is all so very sad.

Peter 1:18-21...it was the costly sacrifice of Christ who was like a lamb without defect or flaw.
He had been chosen by God before the creation of the world and was revealed in these last days for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from death and gave him glory; and so your Faith and Hope are fixed on God.

We are scandalized by him on a monthly and even weekly basis. We are exhausted and have had enough. We put our faith not in men but in the true and perennial teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. It seems most of our shepherds today do not actually have the faith.

Pray for the Church.

Protestants have loved this Pope, and he has made it very difficult for many Catholics to defend our faith when questioned by our Protestant friends. In my opinion, he will go down as a bad pope. The church might agree (now or in the future) but I do not think they would state that during our lifetime.

If it's magisterial, we should always blindly submit.

We need to pray for Peter's Chair. We must trust the Lord. It can be very hard to weight through all the muck on a regular day but when the leaders are ambiguous, especially the Pope, it becomes harder to defend our faith and to not be anxious if the next pope will be even more liberal than Pope Francis. I just keep praying for him and others in leadership to be guided by the Lord's Truth and the Holy Spirit.

It's hard to believe pope Francis is a pope. Bad popes happen but I'd guess Bergoglio is a false pope. What he did by contradicting pope John Paul II on the matter of capital punishment points to either Bergoglio being a false pope or papal fallibility on teachings of faith and morals. I believe in papal infallibility. How can two popes contradict each other on an issue of faith and morals unless one isn't actually a pope. Seems to me papal infallibility or a person needs to be outed to rectify this situation.i know which one I back. Hopefully I'm just wrong in my understanding. Please address this issue in a future video. I'd like some guidance. I'm sure there are many who feel the same as I do these days
