I feel like everything we see in the beginning is a reflection of his inner conscious, how he feels separated from loved ones, trapped, suffocating under the plastic wraps, and finally the fire burning in his mind. And everything we see him doing in the clips is what is going on the outside, a result off his tormented mind. Acting recklessly, chasing a bunch of thrills... all to feel something and ignore the problems. Maybe. Idk I'm high.
