In this video, I review the Excalibur 6 Tray Select Digital Dehydrator. This unit features 9.6 square feet of drying capacity, adjustable temperature control, and an LED control panel that is super simple to use. I dehydrated orange peels and a mix of herbs to test the dehydrator's performance, and it worked great. The overall process took about 15 hours.

Ty for this review.. wasn’t sure if to buy a 6 tray Corsori or the 6 tray excalibur with the front door that goes lays down. The Corsori is out. Wondering how loud is this machine?

What's the internal dimensions of this unit? Width, depth and height in inches? Tray size as well? Might be good 5kg filament 3d printer drying, they are 12" diameter, 6" wide.

May I ask if the dehydrator is noisy ? I heard that the mechine is very loud that people had to put them in the shed to work as they couldn't bear the loud noise?

Is this dehydrator only suitable for usage in the US electrical system (110V/60Hz) or it also supports the EU's 220V/50Hz, like some devices?

The number of hours of usage soon mounts up to be quite a considerable amount of money. 15 hours would be at 14p per kwh on my tariff in the UK and when you gather up the food (in this case orange slices) it isn't a great quantity. Looks more spread out on the trays. Gosh, it states 600w and now with the fan at 100w, total 700w that's a bit misleading on the Specifications.
