This is what happens when great musicians are in sync, and have a single focus compositionally. These fuckers are heavy, technical in a progressive way but not losing any of that dark and furious aesthetic. One of the best Metal Albums all year to go along with Conan ( Blood Eagle ), Insomnium ( Shadows of the Dying Sun ), Triptykon ( Melana Chasmata ), and Thantifaxath ( The Sacred White Noise ). \m/

This album seems to have taken much influence from Milton's Paradise Lost, where Lucifer is seen from a more Byronic hero stance than from a stance where he is the source of all evil. Coupled with the William Blake styled cover art, this album has a lot going on for it.
