The Dogon people are an indigenous tribe who occupy a region in Mali, south of the Sahara Desert in Africa. There are about 100,000 members in the tribe.

They are a reclusive tribe of cave and hillside-dwelling farming people inhabiting a sparse, rocky plateau in southeastern Mali, West Africa. They live in the Homburi Mountains near Timbuktu.

The one thing I don't understand why many white people are drawn to African culture and not African Americans 😒 those many people just to watch & listen and record like they the only one interested or can afford 🤔 to be present. I have been interested all my life and feel trapped or boxed in on another man's culture 🤔 and land....Goodness I need a blessing to travel 🙏 and be no longer apart from my ancestors history 🙏
