The first Spainish flag called the "Cross of Burgundy" dates from 1516 to 1730. The Spainish flag was replaced during the reign of King Philip V in 1730, the white flag with the emblem that existed at that time until 1760. The flag was changed by order of King Charles III in 1760, due to the change of the emblem, until 1785.
